Dubai Exports Reveals “Exporters Gateway” Platform

The ‘Exporters Gateway,’ a knowledge platform offering key economic and trade statistics for the UAE and Dubai, as well as details on the most in-demand UAE products, has been launched by Dubai Exports.

Dubai Exports aims to diversify its services and explore new channels to boost the export capabilities of local firms and help them compete successfully in foreign markets, with the launch of the digital platform, ‘Exporters Gateway,’ being one of the initiatives introduced during the Gulfood 2019 exhibition. 

The Exporters Gateway, as stated by Saed Al Awadi, CEO of Dubai Exports, was designed to promote exports from the UAE, improve export competitiveness, and enhance the quality of the services provided to exporters. He emphasized that the portal features a variety of innovative technical solutions and digital content, which will complement their efforts to boost exports and facilitate the growth of the national enterprise in international markets. 

Exporters will be able to identify opportunities across seven sectors in over 40 target markets worldwide through the portal. According to Al Awadi, the platform currently lists over 60 products in which local exporters have a competitive advantage in targeted global markets. 

Abdul Rahman Al Omari, director of Exports Market Development in Dubai Exports, highlighted that the portal offers a significant advantage to exporters in tackling major hurdles in marketing their products, searching for partners, selecting ideal ones, and estimating the export costs. He added that the exporters could easily navigate the export process and the markets by utilizing the platform’s features.  “The aim of Dubai Exports is to support the growth of local companies and their international trade. To achieve this, we constantly provide services and initiatives that inform them of the latest global consumer trends. The Exporters Gateway will create new business opportunities for local companies and remove many of the challenges that our manufacturers and exporters face in their target markets,” said a spokesperson from Dubai Exports.
